Steve's now arrived so we went to 2000 so he was back on familiar turf, as he's a beginner still getting confidence. Spent a couple of hours with him doing a bit of coaching, and he's starting to get the hang of it. Once his knees had taken enough poundings he left me to it. By now the weather had closed in and the wind was bitterly cold. It was also hard to see the lumps in the snow, of which there were plenty, in the poor light. Did a couple of runs in 200o, then went over the mountain and meandered down to the funicular at 1600. The snow and weather weren't condusive to hanging around.
